With nearly a decade of experience in interior architecture and design, Mary Elizabeth Narine is known for creating spaces that feel as beautiful as they are livable. Her work blends classic foundations with a modern sensibility — sophisticated, layered, and always personal.

Mary Elizabeth approaches every project with intention. From the first conversation to the final styling, she takes the time to understand how clients live, what inspires them, and what home truly means to them. Her calm, collaborative process ensures each design is both functional and timeless — a reflection of her clients’ stories, translated through texture, tone, and craft.

Her professional roots began at Dixon Advisory, where she designed and renovated historic Brownstones across the tri-state area, restoring them to their original charm. She also led award-winning corporate design projects, including the firm’s 25,000-square-foot offices in Lower Manhattan and the Sydney, Australia headquarters.

A graduate of the New Jersey Institute of Technology’s School of Architecture and Design, Mary Elizabeth holds a B.A. in Interior Architecture and a second major in Theatre Technologies. Her background in stage and set design informs her intuitive understanding of light, proportion, and storytelling within a space.

Today, through Narine + Co Studio, she continues to craft refined, inviting interiors throughout Summit, Montclair, Jersey City, Hoboken, and the greater New York area — spaces defined by harmony, craftsmanship, and enduring beauty.
